App Wednesday – OneNote

If you are like me you have a lot going on in any given day so you need to be able to keep you shopping list, gift list (early Christmas shopping), blog and other ideas, and just simply all the other stuff in our lives. We don’t always have time to get documents from one place to another and this little app is great. It doesn’t matter if you have a PC or Mac. Powered straight from Microsoft is OneNote. It is like carrying the old school binder or infinite subject notebook that I can use on the computer and take along with me.
I love having OneDrive and all the MS Office products on my iPad but this is better and just one app. I can keep it all together in an organized fashion leaving me time to get all those things on that “To do list” done. And I don’t have to worry did I forget the eggs or milk because I can make a list for that.
Instead of trying to remember who you got what for birthdays and holidays make a section. This is great for those that like to Christmas shop all year.
The app is free for your device and computer making this the pick of the month as you can do so much with this program. Get it today and start getting organized

App Wednesday – Sticky for iPad

Do you have tons of sticky notes all over the place? Do you ever remember to do them much less remove them when you get it done? Well I know that I am the sticky note Queen. I am constantly picking up more at Dollar Tree (a cost effective way to feed my habit). But I will stick them on the board or my desk and then they get covered up. Don’t you wish there was a better way? Well there is. Sticky is an app for the iPad (free) that will allow you to make your stickies on the screen without the sticky residue from the paper and less likely to get lost.
Yes, I know there are tons of reminder programs but lets face the fact that we have some things that are reoccurring and need to stay there but if we do them in the reminder we have to keep getting a reminder that we might not have the time to do it at that exact moment and then we forget until the next reminder.
This is a great way to move it off to the side, then bring it back in the front when you need to do it again. Now just now to remember to use it. Just like any other app it is only works if you use it.
This app will never replace all my sticky notes but since I usually have my iPhone or the iPad with me this is a great program for me. Give it a try. It is free.

I would have to disagree with some of the reviews about the voice. It is just okay. The chorus reminded me of someone singing in the shower, and since Sting does not shower at my house. It is a decent song, I didn’t get much from the lyrics, they didn’t speak to me, however the one plus was the music.

Added to the playlist only because it is a different sound that seems to appeal to another crowd and it is free.
