Just like Pennies from Heaven this app is incredible. I used it through the holidays and it was great to keep me on budgets. It’s all those little purchases here and there that will get you. Set a budget for the week, bi-week, or month.

Track your spending bills, gas, clothing all your purchase. Just start a budget and start tracking it.

  • Add a Budget
• Step Two:
  • Select budget type
    • Repeating Monthly Budget
    • Repeating Weekly Budget
    • Repeating Bi-Weekly Budget
    • One-Off Budget
• Step Three:
  • Name your budget (household, new shoes)
• Step Four:
  • Start Date: day of the week (Monday, Tuesday, etc)
• Step Five:
  • Type of currency – dollars, euro, etch

  • Money Left – did you have money left?
• Step Eight:

Wednesday App – Blipp

I seen this app in a magazine that said it makes it easier to download recipes in that magazine. What it should have said as long as they are part of the advertising the company uses. Don’t expect this to pull in all recipes, only the ones that are brand names they have contracts with.

Example: If you see the ad on a page for Philadelphia Cream Cheese it will work. If you have Philadelphia Cream Cheese on another page but not a sponsored one it will not.

Now with that being said, take a Pepsi can…. now that can be for with this app, it becomes interactive.

And the interactive part is fun if you have time to kill to see what will work and what won’t. The point of the app from the creation side was to get consumers (you) to interact with products and make you remember them when shopping. The longer they can get your attention the more likely you are to purchase one of them in the future.

I played with the app for a while but think it was really not my thing. I don’t care about a dancing soda can to pass my time.

If you are in a new city or just trying to find the cheapest parking this is the app and website for you. It provides the amount of parking when you enter the date and time of your arrival.

It is available for Blackberry, iOS and Android as well as web-based searching. Free app and great if you travel.

Free App Wednesday – Sleep Cycle Alarm Clock

This is a great app if you want to know how you are sleep at night and why you might be tired when you get up. Without using expensive bands this app monitors your movement along with your mood and heartrate when waking.

The soft wake marks when you are ready to wake. You can set this to any time. Such as: you want to get up at 5:30 and set your time for 10 minutes. It will wake you sometime between 5:20 and 5:30. It slowly wakes you up rather than startle by a loud alarm.

It is also compatible with IOS 8 and works great monitoring your sleep.
